Italy breathes ancient history in each of its towns and cities.  Cradle for the European civilization across half the globe, its waters were the scene of a multitude of battles, which we cannot help but think about while sailing and anchoring in its harbours and marinas.

A lesson in history is essential, it is a must to visit and discover every historical site we come across.

The variety of its landscape is impressive, it must be discovered little by little, and at different times of the year.

Sardegna, especially its northern coast, represent one of the best sailing destination in the Med, in particular Porto Ciervo, glamorous and exclusive.  The sea around is of incomparable beauty and form together with the Bonifacio Straight and the many islands the natural park of Maddalena, a haven for water sports.

Sicily, at the south of the Italian peninsula and the Eolian Islands with its smoking majestic volcanoes have inspired countless philosopher, writers and film directors.
